Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church is the Kingdom of God on earth. The purpose of our congregation is to preach and teach the Lord’s Words. We strive to strengthen their spiritual faith and restore their relationship with our Heavenly Father. Our church will light the path to help lost souls find their way back to God.

CHURCH HISTORY

• Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church was formed through prayer meetings in various homes. Through these meetings came the need for a church in the Rose Hill Community.
• 1941 - A piece of land was donated and the first structure was built. Rev. Stevenson was our first pastor. He served from 1941 until 1944.
• 1944 - Rev. W.W. Poag served until 1949
• 1949 - Rev. J.W. Wallace served until 1997
• 1961 - New church constructed
• 1983 - Purchased two lots adjacent to church (parking lot)
• 1973 - Handicap lift was constructed
• 1998 - Rev. Keith Gaston served until 2017
• 1999 - Shelter added to back of church
• 1999 - Kitchen & restrooms remodeled
• 2004 - New sound room & equipment purchased
• 2005 - Church van purchased
• 2007 - Purchased 5 acres for the Vision of a new facility
• 2010 - 5 acres of Land paid in full
• 2011 - Church sanctuary repainted/foyer remodeled
• 2012 - Storage room added to back of church
• 2018 - Rev. Fredrick Wilson (interim pastor)
• 2019 - Rev. Maurice Jones was called to pastor Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church
